But just as I was about to order the Mk3 I remembered that after buying the Mk2 I learnt of the two other midi controllers that I though might be more convenient for my need than the Akai. The backstory is I sold my Akai MPK Mini Mk2 because I wanted to get the Mk3 for three essential reasons: the better key response, the endless knobs and the USB position at the back (in my setup having it to the side is very uncomfortable). So, basically: Which would you buy? And why?
